The Heart Lodge and Garden
Spacious yet sheltered, The Heart Lodge is our premier gathering space and designed with both scale and intimacy in mind. Spanning 2,400 square feet of light-filled architecture, it serves as a versatile sanctuary for workshops, yoga, art creation, and deep group connection.
The interior is anchored by a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace that brings a rugged, natural beauty to the room. Beneath your feet, radiant heated floors provide a subtle, grounding warmth, making the space inviting in every season. Large windows frame the surrounding greenery, while the adjacent garden offers a quiet place to step out and breathe between sessions, or a space for a catered wedding dinner.
The Main Lodge
The historic heart of the property for over 150 years, the two story Main Lodge is where the collective energy of a retreat comes together. With a dining room, large meeting area, and upstairs lodging, it is a central, grounding space designed for shared meals, late-night games, and the quiet rituals of community life.
Morning begins on the expansive outdoor deck, where the first light pairs perfectly with a quiet cup of coffee and a view of the valley. Inside, the Living Room offers a soft landing—all cozy sofas and warm tea—for conversations that stretch long into the evening. Above, the Bunk House provides a simple retreat from the social space, sleeping up to 29 guests within its seasoned, historical walls.
The Yurt
Nestled among the Live Oaks in our West Valley, this spacious, unassuming, and versatile 30' Yurt is our 'Room of Requirement'—and this author's personal, favorite location on the property.
Defined by its classic radial geometry and natural materials, this 40 person, single room is a blank canvas. Simple wooden frames and dual entrances lead directly to a private deck, offering a seamless transition between the sheltered comfort of the yurt and the surrounding woods.
With its abundant natural light, expansive views, and some of the best stargazing on the property, the Yurt is an ideal setting for anything from workshops and massage to quiet lounging and late-night dance parties.
The Meadow
The Meadow serves as our central "Commons"— a wide, sun-drenched canvas that naturally anchors the property. With its open layout and available power, it is an ideal setting for outdoor stages, ceremonies, and vendor tents, yet it remains simple enough for a quiet afternoon of lawn games or stargazing. A conservative measurement for the central, flat space in the meadow is 60' x 70' (4,200 square feet).
